Nintendo chief, Satoru Iwata has outlined a potential release date for the Wii Vitality Sensor, giving a little more insight about what it can do.
In a Nintendo investor Q&A , Iwata said that the pulse sensor would ideally be launched “not too late in the year next year” (I’m sure it will be conveniently in time for Christmas 2010).
I think this is an interesting concept, however in my opinion the technology is quite limited compared to the advancement of smart garment technology today.
Surely, wearing a lightweight and comfortable garment would be a better gaming experience than having a pulse reader attached to your finger.
